Mike Hale announces candidacy for Town Meeting Member for Precinct 3

I’m excited to announce my candidacy for Town Meeting Member for Precinct 3.

I’m a Senior Director of Information Technology for Steward Health Care in Dorchester, and live on Brook Road with my wife Maggie (O’Donnell) Hale and my two young children Shannon and Ethan, who we walk to school at Glover Elementary every day.

We fell in love with Milton from the moment we decided to move here 6 years ago. I’m involved with several community organizations including being a member of the town Capital Improvement Planning Committee, active in the Glover PTO, coaching youth soccer, and organizing the Milton Invitational Horseshoes Organization.

I believe in sensible commercial and residential development for Milton that needs to be handled smartly to retain our town’s special character as we grow. I support the pending override, but will strive to look for opportunities to get more for our tax dollars, which I hope to do through my participation on both the CIPC and Town Meeting.

As a non-incumbent, I hope you’ll give me a chance to bring a fresh perspective and energy to Town Meeting. If you are a resident in Precinct 3 I would appreciate your vote on April 25.
