Hooray! It’s Floating Reading Day to collect books

At the April 12 Milton Neighbors Social, we collected many books for “Hooray! It’s Floating Reading Day.”

It would be great to collect even more!

Floating Hospital for Children, located in Boston’s Chinatown/Theatre District will be hosting “Hooray! It’s Floating Reading Day” as part of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Call to Action Day on Friday, May 6. The hospital is seeking new infant books, books with literacy levels of 3rd grade and above in English, and any literacy level in other languages (Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese and Haitian Creole).

Would you be interested in placing collection boxes to collect books for Tuft’s Floating Hospital “Hooray! It’s Floating Reading Day” in your business location for the next 2-3 weeks?

Please email [email protected] if you can place a small box for children’s book collection in your local business until the end of April. The Milton Scene and Milton Neighbors will promote the list of business collection spots through April 30th.

Thanks, Milton Neighbors!
