The Boston School of Music Arts is a year round music school, offering music lessons and classes in Dorchester and Milton, MA. You will find private: Voice lessons, Piano lessons, Guitar lessons, Violin lessons, Drum lessons, Bass Guitar lessons, Saxophone, Trumpet lessons, Clarinet, Flute, Viola, Cello, Trombone, Accordion, Ukulele, and more. You will also find: Group classes in Piano, Guitar, Violin and Ukulele, ensemble and band classes, vocal ensemble classes, music theory, professional performance workshops, guest artist workshops, and special Summer Programs – all for beginners through professionals of ages 2 years, 10 months and up. Our PRO division is for children and adults.

The School was established in 2010, in the eclectic and diverse community of Dorchester’s Lower Mills, right near the Milton, MA border.

We are passionate about bringing high-quality music education, inspiration about music, and music performance skills development to as broad a population of children and adults as possible. This is a feeling and intention shared by the entire teaching and administrative staff.

With 22 gifted faculty, an ever-increasing student roster of over 360, and a caring administrative team, many of whom are red cross first aid certified, that dream is being realized.

Our students are taught using specialized materials – customized to each students’ needs.
