Tom Palmer announces candidacy for Milton Town Meeting Member, Precinct 1

My name is Tom Palmer and I’m asking for one of your votes for Town Meeting member in Precinct 1. My wife Linda and I moved to Milton for its excellent schools and proximity to the Blue Hills. Our roots in Precinct 1 run deep – we have lived on Blue Hill Terrace for 37 years.

I am the proud father of two Tucker graduates and grandfather of two future Tucker Tigers. My son Nathan is a French teacher at Milton High School.

My professional credentials include:

• Member, Milton Conservation Commission
• Consultant, Neponset River Watershed Association
• Proprietor, Thomas Palmer Wetlands
• Consulting Author, Landscape with Reptile, a history of the Blue Hills

I am a strong supporter of the operational override to fund our schools, police, fire fighter and other town services.

I look forward to serving my neighbors in Precinct 1 and working for the good of Milton as a whole
