Susan Gennaro announces candidacy for Milton Town Meeting Member, Precinct 8

I’m Susan Gennaro, and I hope you will consider voting for me to be your Precinct 8 Town Meeting Member on Tuesday, April 29. I am a nurse educator, perinatal nurse researcher, and editor of a global nursing journal. With daily interactions across the globe, I understand the importance of “think globally, act locally.” I’m running for Town Meeting Member in Precinct 8 to use my skills to promote the health of our Milton community. With extensive experience in team leadership and budget management (including multi-million-dollar budgets), I’m skilled at solving problems by considering all perspectives. I believe in the power of humor, active listening, and collaboration to achieve positive outcomes.

I’m committed to building a healthy community where children thrive through education and meaningful activities, and where all citizens, from the youngest to the oldest, can live well. A healthy community means safe streets, friendly neighbors, and systems in place to support everyone’s well-being. My husband (also a nurse) and I moved to Milton in 2021 to be closer to our family. We are proud Collicott grandparents and grateful for our life here. Now, I’d like to give back by using my expertise to help Milton flourish.
