Sheena Anello announce candidacy for Milton Town Meeting Member, Precinct 8

My name is Sheena Anello, and I am pleased to announce my candidacy for Town Meeting Member of Precinct 8. My family and I recently moved to Milton, but this is a place we plan to call home for years to come. Since my arrival, I have taken every opportunity to volunteer and engage with my community. I currently serve on the DEIB committees for Pierce and Cunningham and will be the DEIB liaison for the Pierce PTO next year. I am truly invested in the issues our town and residents are facing, which has fueled my desire to take on a more active political role in Milton.

As a Town Meeting Member, I will be committed to ensuring that all citizens of Milton feel represented, heard, and supported. I believe that local government should be inclusive and responsive to the needs of every resident, fostering a community where everyone has a voice in shaping our town’s future. One of my primary goals is to advocate for access to high-quality public schools and essential town services that enhance our quality of life while being backed by a fiscally responsible and sustainable financial framework. I understand the importance of balancing investment in our community with long-term financial stability, ensuring that Milton remains a great place to live for generations to come.

Professionally, I am the Director of Project Management for a database company that supports nonprofit organizations that primarily serve survivors of domestic and sexual violence. My role requires effective problem-solving as well as the ability to digest and explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner to meet the needs of our customers. I will apply all these skills toward being a dedicated and thoughtful Town Meeting Member.

I look forward to engaging with my neighbors, listening to their concerns, and collaborating with fellow Town Meeting Members to make informed decisions that reflect the best interests of our town. Whether you have lived here for decades or only a matter of days, I believe your opinion matters. By working together, we can create a stronger, more connected Milton for all.
