S. Elaine Craghead announces candidacy for Milton Town Meeting Member, Precinct 4/4A

My name is Elaine Craghead, and I am running for TMM to continue to represent the residents of Precinct 4/4A.

My wife and I moved to Milton in 2005, and we have a son who is a student at MHS. Milton is a special place to live, and I have dedicated a number of years to support this community. I have served as a TMM for over a decade, and have also served as a Milton School Committee Member for two terms (2016-2022), during which time I served as Vice Chair for two years, as the School Committee representative to the Capital Improvement Planning Committee for two years, and as Finance Subcommittee Chair for 5 years.

I am very familiar with Milton’s budgetary process, as well as the needs of the Milton Public Schools. Before my election to the School Committee, I also served on the Milton Cultural Council for several years, ultimately chairing the Council. I am always eager to hear the concerns of the residents of the precinct, and make sure that their voices are heard at TM. If I am reelected as a TMM, I will, as always, faithfully attend Town Meeting, coming prepared to represent the best interests of the residents of Precinct 4/4A.
