Maura McNamara announces candidacy for Milton Town Meeting Member, Precinct 6

I’m proud to announce my candidacy for Town Meeting Member in Precinct 6. As someone who has built a career in healthcare and education, I’m committed to representing our community with transparency, compassion, and a focus on thoughtful progress.

My professional background includes over 15 years in healthcare leadership, where I worked to improve access and outcomes across diverse populations. Currently, I serve as the Executive Director of a Neurodiversity Center for Excellence in Milton, where I lead initiatives that support inclusive education and employment for neurodivergent individuals. I understand the importance of policies that support the well-being of all residents—young and old, students and seniors, families and professionals.

As a candidate, my priorities include:

• Strong public schools that are well-funded, inclusive, and prepared for the future
• Community health and wellness, with support for mental health, aging in place, and access to services
• Smart, sustainable growth that balances development
• Fiscal responsibility, ensuring that our resources are used wisely and with long-term impact in mind
• Civic inclusion, so that all voices have a seat at the table

I believe in a collaborative, forward-thinking approach to governance. I will listen to residents, advocate for practical solutions, and work to ensure that our town remains a thriving community.
