Macy Lee announces candidacy for Milton Town Meeting Member, Precinct 2

Hello, P2 Neighbors –

My name is Macy Lee and I am excited to continue my public service by running for Town Meeting Member for Precinct 2.

In 1986, my parents moved from Chinatown to the Cunningham Park area in Milton; my young family and I followed in 2003. I now have two adult children who were Milton Public School students and graduates. I was a volunteer for the Cunningham PTO and the Milton Boosters. I currently serve on the Warrant Committee. As such, I am familiar with all the town articles and budgetary issues. I am also a member of the Milton Garden Club and can be seen, along with my fellow dedicated members, cleaning and planting bulbs at the library in the fall and doing spring cleanup at the Trailside Museum.

I am an attorney and have devoted the majority of my legal career in public service. For the last 30 years, I have served the citizens of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as an Assistant Attorney General, an Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County, and now the Director of the Office of Medicaid Board of Hearings. I have spent my career ensuring that the constitutional and due process rights of all are protected.

After deciding to run for Town Meeting Member, I visited every home in Precinct 2. I firmly believe that face to face interaction with future constituents is vital in establishing trust, credibility, and accountability. Meeting so many of my P2 neighbors has been a humbling, rewarding, and learning experience. Thank you very much to the many neighbors who invited me into their homes, allowed me to pet their dogs, and took the time to learn about my candidacy. I hope I have earned your vote on April 29th!
