Kevin Chrisom announces candidacy for Milton Constable
My name is Kevin Chrisom, Jr. and I am proud to announce my candidacy to be one of your four Constables here in Milton.
I am a resident of the Courtland Circle neighborhood in East Milton and was elected as a Town Meeting member from Precinct 7 in last April’s annual town election. I currently serve as the Legislative Aide to State Representative Richard Wells at the State House and I am on several boards here in town, including Milton’s Affordable Housing Trust, the St. Agatha Parish Pastoral Council, and We Are Milton.
I also am the host of the “The Irish Hit Parade” every Saturday from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on WROL Irish 950 AM & 100.3 FM on the radio and the host of “Conversations” on Milton Access TV.
The role of Constable is an important one. It has several duties, chief among them is maintaining the peace and serving judicial processes, including summonses and subpoenas for individuals to appear in court for criminal and civil cases, along with other small claims and matters. Constables an integral part of our legal system, particularly on the local level. If elected, I will represent our town in this role with the utmost integrity and respect for all residents and would appreciate your consideration.
I humbly ask for one of your four votes for Constable on Tuesday, April 29.
