Jennifer Meyers announces candidacy for Milton Town Meeting Member, Precinct 5

I’m excited to announce my candidacy for Town Meeting Member in Precinct 5. In the time that I’ve been in Milton, my kids have attended Tucker, Pierce, and Milton High School. My kids have been involved in Milton Soccer, MHS football, volleyball, theater, debate and model UN. I’ve enjoyed, participated in and supported the amazing cultural and community-building activities and organizations in Milton, including Milton Porchfest and the Milton Farmers Market.

I’m eager to serve this town as a Town Meeting Member, to keep Milton focused on a sustainable path, including strategic and responsible growth to reduce the tax burden on residents and to continue to provide excellent support for our school children. As an MBA with about 30 years of experience in the non-profit sector, I’ll be well equipped to understand our town’s finances and operations while maintaining a focus on supporting all of our residents, across the lifespan and from all backgrounds.
