Chris Shumate announces candidacy for Milton Town Meeting Member, Precinct 8

Hello, everyone!

My name is Chris Shumate, and I’m thrilled to announce my candidacy for the Town Meeting Member position in Precinct 8. Almost eight years ago, my wife Jana and I made the decision to relocate to Milton, driven by our desire to raise our family in a nurturing and supportive community. We currently reside on Lodge Street with our three energetic children, and we feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such a wonderful and family-oriented neighborhood.

In my professional life, I serve as an in-house insurance regulatory lawyer. My passion lies in advocating for positive change and creating a better world for our children and future generations.

As a Town Meeting Member, I pledge to champion responsible planning and development practices. I firmly believe that these decisions will lay the foundation for Milton’s continued growth and prosperity. Additionally, I promise to actively listen to the concerns and aspirations of our community, Precinct 8. By doing so, I aim to represent the interests of all residents and ensure that our voices are heard.
