Brian McGuire announces candidacy for Milton Town Meeting Member, Precinct 7

I am excited to announce my candidacy for Town Meeting Member for Precinct 7!

As a proud resident of Milton for 40 years—including 30 years in East Milton—I am deeply committed to our town and its future. I have seen firsthand how thoughtful leadership and community engagement can shape the place we call home, and I am eager to bring my experience and dedication to serve our neighborhoods.

With an MBA and a career spent managing multimillion-dollar budgets, leading teams, and improving operational efficiency, I have the experience needed to ensure that our town’s resources are managed responsibly. Now semi-retired, I have the time and dedication to focus on the issues that matter most to Milton residents. As a member of the Warrant Committee, I have worked to ensure transparency and accountability in town finances, and I will continue to advocate for responsible budgeting and strategic planning.

My wife and I raised our two children here, both of whom attended Milton Public Schools and were actively involved in town and school sports, and we have loved being part of this community. Beyond our family’s deep roots in Milton, we have always prioritized giving back through community service. I actively volunteer at Interfaith Social Services, supporting their mission to assist local families in need. This work has reinforced my belief in the power of strong community connections and thoughtful leadership to preserve Milton’s character while fostering sustainable growth.

If elected, I will advocate for smart sustainable growth that respects our neighborhoods while ensuring a strong future for Milton. I will champion transparency, responsible budgeting and policies that enhance our community’s quality of life.

Milton is a town built on tradition and progress. I believe my experience can add a valuable perspective to the conversation.
