Norfolk County to conduct Aerial Mosquito control – April to October 2025
Notice of Potential Aerial Mosquito Control Applications
In accordance with 333 CMR 13.04(7)(a & b), this serves as notification of potential aerial applications targeting mosquito larvae in large wetlands within the Norfolk County Mosquito Control District during the spring and, if necessary, summer of 2025.
The District may conduct helicopter applications of biorational larvicides to control mosquito larvae, depending on conditions. Targeted wetland locations for spring applications are available on the District’s website, with summer locations to be posted if applications are deemed necessary.
These applications may take place in the following towns:
Avon, Bellingham, Braintree, Canton, Dedham, Dover, Foxboro, Franklin, Holbrook, Medfield, Medway, Millis, Milton, Needham, Norfolk, Norwood, Plainville, Quincy, Randolph, Sharon, Stoughton, Walpole, Westwood, Weymouth, Wrentham.
Potential application dates: April 1 – October 31, 2025
