Milton’s Community Preservation Act public forum set for March 19

Milton residents interested in shaping the town’s future will have an opportunity to engage in an important discussion at the upcoming Community Preservation Act (CPA) Public Forum on March 19, 2025, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Council on Aging, 10 Walnut St, Milton.

Hosted by the Milton Community Preservation Committee, this forum invites both past and aspiring project awardees, as well as community members with ideas for future CPA funding. Attendees will have the chance to ask questions, share ideas, and learn more about how CPA funds have been allocated to support projects in housing, open space, recreation, and historic preservation throughout the town.

Since the adoption of CPA in 2022, Milton has invested $3.8 million into various community projects, enhancing public spaces and preserving the town’s rich heritage. This forum is an opportunity for residents to contribute their thoughts and potentially shape next year’s funded projects.

Residents with innovative ideas for community improvements are strongly encouraged to attend and participate. Your idea could be next year’s funded project!
