Milton council on Aging & AARP foundation Tax Aide program to take place March 26

The Milton Council on Aging will be hosting a team of AARP Tax Aide volunteers on Wednesdays through March 26, 2025. The AARP trained and certified volunteers will provide free tax assistance and preparation services.

There is no income guideline to qualify for assistance, however, AARP’s target group for the Tax Aide Program is low- and moderate-income individuals or families.

The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Program is the nation’s largest volunteer-based free tax assistance and preparation service. Since 1968, the Foundation’s team of over 26,000 volunteers have provided free tax assistance to more than 75 million taxpayers with low to moderate incomes. There is no charge for the tax assistance and preparation services.
