Milton’s annual town election is fast approaching (April 29th!), and now is the time to share your thoughts!
Whether you’re passionate about a candidate, an important issue, or the town’s future, submitting an opinion piece is a great way to engage with your community and inform fellow voters.
How to share your opinion
We encourage residents to submit letters to the editor at The Milton Scene. Here’s how you can participate:

✔ Include the following in your email:
- Your full first and last name (anonymous submissions will not be published).
- Your perspective on Milton’s election—this could be about candidates, key issues, or why this election matters to you.
What can you write about?
Your letter can address various election-related topics, such as:
- Support or opposition for a particular candidate.
- Key issues that should be a priority for town leadership.
- The importance of voter participation and civic engagement.
- Personal experiences that shape your views on local governance.
Submission guidelines
- Be respectful: We welcome strong opinions, but personal attacks will not be published.
- Keep it concise: Letters should be 300–600 words for clarity and readability.
- Submit early: The deadline for opinion pieces is April 19, 2025 (10 days before the election) to allow time for review and publication.
