Deborah Milbauer announces candidacy for Milton Board of Health

Deborah Milbauer, current Town Meeting member for Precinct 4, has announced her candidacy for the Milton Board of Health in the upcoming election scheduled to be held on April 29, 2025.

Deborah Milbauer is a proud Milton resident of 23 years, where she lives with her two daughters and husband, Corey Dolgon, Stonehill Sociology Professor. This spring, Ruby will be graduating from Milton High School and Bailey from Fordham University.

Deborah serves on the faculty of the Public Health and Health Sciences department at Northeastern University and has 30+ years of professional experience in community public health. She is a graduate of Boston University where she earned a Master’s in Public Health and a Master’s in Social Work, and her Bachelors of Art while a D1 field hockey scholarship athlete. Deborah has decades of experience running community-based programs and community organizing on public health concerns. She served as director of a state-wide HIV prevention project for homeless service providers, developed opioid overdose prevention programming for the Roxbury/JP Substance Use Prevention Coalition, and was an expert consultant for multiple MA Dept. of Public Health coalitions.

Since moving to Milton, Deborah has been working actively to improve the health of the community, working with and for the Milton Health Department, local public health boards (The Milton Coalition and the Partnership for a Healthy Milton), volunteering with the Pine Tree Brook Neighborhood Association and recently authoring a successful ecological restoration Community Preservation grant. Deborah is running for the Board of Health to bring her decades of experience and expertise to the Milton community to ensure public health is at every table.
