Milton Board of Park Commissioners to meet on February 27

The Milton Board of Park Commissioners is set to hold its next meeting on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 7:30 a.m. at Milton Town Hall, located at 525 Canton Ave. The meeting will take place in the Cronin Conference Room and will cover several key topics related to the town’s parks and recreational facilities.

Agenda Highlights

The meeting will begin with a call to order, followed by the approval of minutes from the previous meeting held on January 16, 2025. A public comment period will allow residents to share their input and concerns regarding local park and recreation matters.

One of the key topics of discussion will be an update on Lower Gile, a local park area undergoing improvements or maintenance. Additionally, the board will address the role of a park representative for the Youth Task Force, emphasizing the importance of youth engagement in community recreation.

  • Basketball Court near Town Hall – Discussion surrounding the state and potential enhancements of the basketball court located near the Milton Town Hall.

Town Survey and Reports

The board will also discuss and take action on a town survey regarding parks and recreation, which aims to gather community input on future projects and improvements.
