Boston rallies on Mar. 1 to support LAFD’s widows, orphans, and disabled firefighters fund

Boston is coming together for a night of camaraderie, entertainment, and philanthropy in support of the Los Angeles Fire Department’s (LAFD) widows, orphans, and disabled firefighter’s fund.

The event, titled “Boston Supports LAFD”, will take place on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Boston Teacher’s Union Hall, 180 Mount Vernon Street, Dorchester, MA 02125.

This special evening is dedicated to assisting wildfire victims and the families of firefighters who have been injured or lost in the line of duty. With wildfires continuing to pose devastating risks, the Boston community is stepping up to extend their support to the brave first responders of the LAFD.

A night of music, dancing, and giving

Attendees will enjoy live entertainment by DJ James MacDougall (“Maca”) and Dennis Taylor, ensuring a night filled with music, dancing, and fun. The event will also feature raffles and other exciting activities to keep the energy high while raising funds for a meaningful cause.

Tickets are available for $25 per person, with an option to reserve a table of ten for $250.

About the cause

The widows, orphans & disabled firefighter’s fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity that has been dedicated to supporting the families of LAFD firefighters for over a century. Their mission is to provide financial assistance to firefighters and their loved ones facing hardship due to injury, illness, or tragic loss.
