Milton Warrant Committee to discuss special town meeting articles on Jan. 23

The agenda will focus on discussions and votes concerning several important articles to be addressed at the February 2025 Special Town Meeting. These articles include:

1. PEG Access Enterprise Fund – Review of funding allocations for public, educational, and government access television services.
2. Home Rule Petition for Additional Liquor Licenses – Consideration of expanding liquor license availability to support local businesses.
3. Amendment to Chapter 105 (Alcoholic Beverages) of the General Bylaws – Proposed updates to local regulations governing alcohol sales.
4. Lead Service Line Inventory and Replacement Appropriation – Funding for identifying and replacing lead service lines to ensure safe drinking water.
5. Senior Means-Tested Tax Exemption – A home rule petition aiming to provide property tax relief to senior residents with limited incomes.
6. Amendment to the School Building Committee Membership – Adjustments to the composition of the committee overseeing school infrastructure projects.
7. Feasibility Study Appropriation with the MSBA – Funding to explore new school construction or renovation projects in partnership with the Massachusetts School Building Authority.
8. Cunningham School Project – Discussion on plans and funding for updates or renovations to the Cunningham School.
