Milton Interfaith Clergy Association hosts Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration on Jan. 20
The Milton Interfaith Clergy Association is proud to present its annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Service & Community Celebration, an event honoring the legacy of Dr. King and his message of unity, justice, and equality.
The celebration will take place on Monday, January 20th, from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church, located at 180 Blue Hill Avenue in Milton, MA. For those unable to attend in person, the event will also be live-streamed, ensuring access to the broader community.
Keynote Address by James Hill
This year’s keynote address will be delivered by James Hill, widely known as a distinguished broadcaster. Hill’s speech, titled “We may have all come on different ships, but we’re in the same boat now,” will explore themes of shared humanity and collective progress—a message deeply rooted in Dr. King’s vision of social harmony.
A Community Tradition
The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Service & Community Celebration has long been a cornerstone event for Milton, bringing together residents of all backgrounds to reflect on Dr. King’s enduring impact.
