Milton community invited to Government 101 workshop on Jan. 30
The Milton Town Government is excited to invite community members to an engaging and informative event, “Milton Town Government 101,” designed to educate and inspire local residents about civic involvement and leadership. The workshop will take place on Thursday, January 30, at 7:00 p.m., in the Keys Community Room at the Milton Public Library.
This interactive workshop offers a unique opportunity for Milton residents to:
- Learn about the structures, governing bodies, and committees that make up Milton’s town government.
- Discover the process of running for town office.
- Connect with town meeting members, the Town Clerk, and formerly elected officials.
Attendees will gain valuable insights from experienced town leaders who will share their knowledge and experiences, answer questions, and provide guidance for those interested in playing a more active role in the community. Whether you are considering running for office, want to better understand local governance, or simply wish to get involved, this workshop is the perfect place to start.
“We hope this event inspires more residents to take an active role in shaping our town’s future,” said a spokesperson for the Milton Town Government. “It’s an excellent opportunity to learn, ask questions, and explore the possibilities of public service.”
Mark your calendar and join your neighbors in learning how you can contribute to Milton’s vibrant civic life. No registration is required, and all community members are welcome.
