Poetry reading with local authors to take place Nov. 12 at Milton Public Library

There will be a “Poetry Reading Event with Local Authors,” to include 3 Massachusetts writers on Tuesday, November 12, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Keys Community Room.

These poets will read from their work, under the guidance of author Joshua Coben. In addition to Mr. Coben, authors Karina Borowicz and Jim Henle will present their poems in this program.

Joshua Coben’s first book of poetry, Maker of Shadows (c2010), won the X. J. Kennedy Poetry Prize, and his second collection called Night Chaser (c2020) was a finalist for the Vassar Miller Prize. Poet Karina Borowicz’s collections include Proof, and a French translation of selected works.

Her poems and essays have appeared widely in journals, anthologies, and on public radio, and studied creative writing at Bard College and University of New Hampshire. Jim Henle’s poems and translations have been published in Salamander, Sanctuary, and more, and he hails from Jamaica Plain.

No signup is required to attend so just please join us and enjoy an evening of poetry!
