October 9: Wednesday monthly movie – Arthur the King – at the Milton Public Library

Our Wednesday Monthly Movie will be shown on October 9 starting at 6:30 p.m.

The pick is “Arthur the King” which stars Mark Wahlberg in a wonderful true story. This inspiring film celebrates the human and animal spirit as Michael Light (Wahlberg), and a scrappy street dog named Arthur, forge a bond when Michael puts together a team for the punishing Adventure Racing World Championship in Santo Domingo. Light is desperate for one last win, and while navigating the brutal course, his team meets the dog Arthur, who refuses to leave their side. Arthur defines what victory and friendship truly mean.

This story is based on the book called Arthur – The Dog Who Crossed the Jungle to Find a Home by Mikael Lindnord (c2018). Don’t miss this one! The running time is 117 minutes and it is rated PG-13 for some strong language. No advance signup is required and we hope you will join us in the Keys Community Room for this movie.
