Join us for movie night: ‘The Boys in the Boat’ at the Milton Public Library on Sept. 4
Our Monthly Movie Night will happen this month on Wednesday, Sept. 4, starting at 6:30 p.m. in our Keys Community Room with the film: “The Boys in the Boat.” This movie tells the story of the University of Washington’s rowing team and their quest for gold at the 1936 Olympics. It is a compelling and inspiring tale of resilience, determination, and the power of teamwork. This is simply a wonderful story which was directed by George Clooney in 2024.
The running time is 123 minutes, it is rated PG-13 for language, and there is no charge to attend. (This follows a Milton town-wide read of the book we did quite a few years ago.) Please come and enjoy an air-conditioned movie!!
This event is kindly sponsored by the Friends of the Milton Public Library and is free and open to all.
Questions? Email [email protected] or call the Reference Dept. at (617) 898-4964.
We encourage you to come visit us – either in person or virtually – this September for an enjoyable program!
