Join Chair Yoga with Marianne Zullas at Milton Public Library on June 6, 2024
This will be a one-hour afternoon Chair Yoga class with instructor Marianne Zullas. Chair yoga is recommended to anyone who spends long periods of time in a seated position. This is a very beneficial practice for teenagers, adults, seniors, people in wheelchairs or those with physical disabilities and all of these participants should find this class very helpful.
Some of the benefits of chair yoga include: building core strength, mobility, flexibility, stress and anxiety reduction, and improvement in mental clarity.
Marianne Zullas is a registered 500-hour yoga teacher and the Program Assistant for Hands to Heart Center, a non-profit organization that shares the healing practice with people affected by addiction, poverty, and trauma in the greater Boston area.
The mind and body connection has been a passion of Marianne’s since childhood. Her goal is to offer her students the opportunity to dissociate from the distractions of overburdened thinking in order to be present in the moment. She wants to learn about each of her students, including their cultures, their backgrounds, and their stories, so she can better help them on their personal yoga journeys. During her free time, Marianne loves to spend time with her family, cook healthy meals, walk in nature and write poems.
This event is kindly sponsored by the Friends of the Milton Public Library and is free and open to all.
