Jean Lang announces candidacy for Town Meeting Member for Precinct 6
Town Meeting members are asked to consider and vote on a variety of issues. As a former reporter and current Realtor, I’m not afraid to do the research, ask questions, and communicate what I’ve learned.
I’m a graduate of Boston College. My husband and I have lived in town for more than 25 years and our two daughters attended the Milton schools. I volunteered at Collicot Elementary School, taught faith formation at St. Agatha’s, and coached softball. I worked as a reporter for The Associated Press in Boston, primarily at the Statehouse.
I also taught journalism part-time at Northeastern University and freelanced for The Boston Globe. For the past several years, I’ve helped people sell and buy homes in Milton and the South Shore as a Realtor with Coldwell Banker. People love Milton because it is close to the city, but maintains its town feel.
We also appreciate the exceptional services provided by the schools, police, fire, and so many other departments. I want to help continue support for these efforts and respectfully ask for your vote on April 30.Thank you.
