Bridget Conroy Mastandrea announces candidacy for Milton Town Meeting Member, Precinct 7
Bridget Conroy Mastandrea for Town Meeting Member, Precinct 7
- I have lived in my little yellow bungalow in the East Milton neighborhood for 21 years. Here, I have raised three fabulous kids, Julia, Matteo and Josie.
- I am most recently a founding member of “Moving Forward as One Milton”, an organization with a focus on creating more civil and mutually respectable discourse in our town in addition to getting to a more equitable plan to meet the states demands under the MBTA zoning act.
- I currently serve on the board of directors at the Milton Art Center.
- I volunteer for Community Servings, Milton Porchfest and Braintree Pickleball Players.
- I work as a real estate agent at Coldwell Banker in Milton and am proud to be in the top 4% of agents internationally.
- I served on the Collicot PTO for ten years and co-chaired the PTO Cultural Committee for eight of those years. During that time, I also worked to diagnose the sound issue in the cafetorium when the new Collicot/Cunningham school was first built. This resulted in sound-proofing the ceiling and installing sound-absorbing theater curtains giving the kids a more enjoyable lunch period and an improved performance experience.
- Mitigating traffic and creating safer streets has long been a priority for me and my work for Precinct 7. Many years ago, I successfully lobbied the traffic commission to have four-way stop signs installed throughout the neighborhood.
- Now that my kids are grown, I hope to become a Town Meeting Member and further my work of slowing down or diverting traffic in our neighborhood
