Brian Foster and Vanessa Johnson Foster announce candidacy for Milton Town Meeting Member, Precinct 5

Hello neighbors! We are Brian G. Foster & Vanessa Johnson Foster, and we are running for re-election for Precinct 5 Town Meeting Members. Our family has lived in Milton for 18 years, and we are proud to call this community home.

Brian G. Foster is an alumni of The College of the Holy Cross and currently works as a Compensation Consultant. He is currently serving as a Town Meeting Member for Precinct 5. He has previously served on the Warrant Committee, where he worked on both the Education and the Parks & Rec subcommittees. This experience has given Brian a deep understanding of priority budgeting, responsible fiscal growth & development, and the procedures of Milton Town Government.

Vanessa Johnson Foster is also currently serving as Town Meeting Member for Precinct 5. She has volunteered in many roles throughout the town: board member of the Tucker PTO, former President of the Friends of the Milton Library, strategy group for the Milton Anti-Racist Coalition, and parent advisor for the Milton Early Childhood Association. She completed her education at Boston University, and holds a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education with a specialty in Character Education. Vanessa taught high school in Boston Public Schools for 10 years before transitioning to her current career as a Realtor with The Foster/Harrington Team at Coldwell Banker Realty- Milton.

• We believe in smart growth and town planning that will increase commercial opportunities for small business owners and diversify housing options to address affordability
