Start the new dragon year by learning how to make your own custom Lunar New Year red envelopes.

In this step-by-step workshop, you’ll go on an artistic journey with Rayna Lo, a second-generation Taiwanese American who works as a calligrapher, illustrator and educator. You’ll be cutting, folding, designing and decorating your own lucky red envelopes! It’s the perfect activity to enjoy while drawing inspiration from the Museum’s Chinese art and artifacts.

Age group: This workshop is designed for young adults and above. Children ages 8-12 may attend if a guardian registers with them. This is a great family activity done together.
