COA Gathers for Important Discussions on Program Updates, Trips, and Policies

The Council on Aging (COA) is set to convene for its monthly meeting on February 12, 2024, at 9:00 am in the Class Room at 10 Walnut Street. The agenda for the meeting covers a range of crucial topics, including program updates, upcoming trips, and the approval of a new trip policy.

Agenda:

1. Call to Order: The meeting will commence with a call to order to ensure a structured and productive discussion.
2. Public Comments: An opportunity for members of the public to voice their opinions and concerns.
3. Secretary’s Report: Review and discussion of the minutes from the previous meeting.
4. Treasurer’s Report: Financial updates and discussions on the financial standing of COA.
5. Directors Report:
   • Program Updates
   • Upcoming Trips
   • Trip Policy for Approval: A new trip policy will be presented for approval.
6. Friends of COA: Updates and discussions regarding the activities and support provided by the Friends of COA.
7. SSE Report: An overview of the Senior Social Engagement (SSE) program and its impact.
8. Quality Control: A discussion on maintaining and enhancing the quality of services provided by COA.
9. Old Business:
   • Board Policies
     • Meetings second Monday each month unless a holiday.
     • Each member shall be willing to serve on at least one committee.

   • Health Department: Updates and discussions on the ongoing collaboration with the Health Department.
