US government will again provide at-home Rapid COVID-19 tests starting Sept. 25

Beginning September 25, 2023 every U.S. household can again order four more free COVID-19 rapid tests delivered directly to their home by visiting Covidtests.gov.

Chances are you, or someone you know, has recently contracted Covid (again!). Hospitalizations due to Covid-19 in the United States have been steadily increasing since July, and the weekly admission rate has now surged to over three times what it was just two months ago. Recent data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention indicates that the number of hospitalizations continues to increase as of publication time.

At home Covid tests offer a convenient way for individuals to check their COVID-19 status quickly.
