It’s happened to so many people that I know – suddenly, poof! Their Facebook page is shut down and they have no idea why!
In today’s digital age, social media platforms play a pivotal role in business growth and customer engagement. Facebook, with its vast user base and advertising capabilities, has become a preferred platform for businesses to connect with their target audience.
However, there might come a time when your Facebook business account is unexpectedly shut down. I received this message the other day about one of my Facebook pages. It’s not real – it is some kind of scam.
Here’s why I suspected:
This was sent as a message, not as a notification within the Facebook app.
This is from “Help Center.” with a period at the end. Meta wouldn’t have a typo.
The article referenced in the message goes to a broken link.
If your page is actually shut down, nobody will be able to see it, and your message will be directly in the app and likely not in your Facebook messages.
Probably, this scammer wanted me to respond and then would somehow get me to provide my password. There are so many new scams lately, I cannot keep track!Not falling for it this time.
1. Remain calm and investigate

(I know, I KNOW how Facebook can induce rage, but… please take a breath. This happens ALL THE TIME – and is often resolved within a few days.)
