Gray Seals and Great White Sharks of Cape Cod talk with Bob Michelson to take place Aug. 1
On Tuesday, August 1, starting at 7:00 p.m., underwater diver and photographer Bob Michelson will give a talk via Zoom called “Gray Seals and Great White Sharks of Cape Cod.” He is following seal researchers as they capture and sample newborn Gray seal pups on the Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge and Wilderness Area south of Chatham.
Witness the first documentation of this species mating in the U.S., and learn about the seals’ complete life history while in New England. Great White Sharks have been returning in increasing numbers to hunt their favorite snack – Gray Seals. Join us to view beautiful photos of life under the sea! Advance registration is required at our website to receive the Zoom link.
