Milton Music Fest and Fireworks June 24, 25, 2023

We are thrilled to return to Governor Hutchinson’s Field atop of Milton Hill on Adams Street Milton, overlooking the beautiful Neponset River basin for our TENTH year.

On Saturday June 24th beginning at 5:00 pm.

Sit and enjoy the splendid view of Boston as our top-notch line up of musicians fill the airwaves with some of your favorite tunes. We will have nearly FOUR hours of nonstop music. There will also be a large open-air dance floor waiting for you.

This year’s lineup includes the legendary group with a long history in Boston. We will also feature a truly talented band that performed this past March at Novara.

MMF 2023 will open with the very truly exceptional band “The Typhoon Generals.” This is a performance you want to catch.
Our FEATURED band this year is longtime Boston/South Shore artists, Fat City Band. For five decades they have brought their Rock, Blues, Jazz and New Orleans R&B to listeners.

Bring your children and give them the chance to play in our massive sandbox and ride our GIANT slide as well as MINI slide for kids. Try your skill on our brand new ROCK WALL. We also have corn hole, and brand new for 2023, Axe Throwing (age restricted).

We will have awesome food and drink, including pizza, Cheesy Chicks food truck, homemade lobster rolls, fresh kettle corn and more. Our BEER Garden will be stocked with cold draft beer , homemade Sangria and Wine. There will also be ice cream, fried dough and much more for sale at the field.

When the sky darkens and the lights twinkle in the distance, right around 9:45 pm, the fireworks will light up the night with the Boston skyline as your backdrop. This celebration is always an evening to treasure. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs, blankets and bug spray!

THEN ON June 25th, we will return with “Celtic Sunday” 1:30-9:00 PM

Celtic Sunday 2023 will highlight many of Boston’s best Irish bands, musicians and vocalists. Each of them brings so much talent and ability to the Boston Irish Music scene.

This great day of Celtic Music will offer some of the best in Irish/Celtic genres, jigs, reels. The Main Stage runs nonstop beginning around 1:30pm with returning Stage Host/DJ Bobbie Brooks. Celtic Sunday 2023 is proud to host many of the “backyard brilliance” that include the best of this region’s Irish and Irish American performers.

This year’s performers include:

The Fenian Sons, Erin’s Melody, Curragh’s Fancy, Strawberry Hill band, The Dooley Brothers as well as other featured Irish musicians.

As an added treat we will also feature a second performance on the main stage by The Typhoon Generals.

There will also be an Acoustic stage/tent which will have its very own Milton Music Fest Irish Pub attached, featuring Guinness and the best in cold draft beer. Traditional artists are also WELCOME at 3:00 pm.

Celtic Sunday is a magnificent FREE afternoon of brilliant music, great food and refreshment. In addition to the MMF Irish Pub, the main beer garden will have popular summer beers and wine.

Grab your chair and sunscreen, there will be something for everyone, young and old. There will also be handicap parking available at the field on SUNDAY.
