Leader of the year announced at BID Milton
Deb Clements has worked at the hospital for nine years
Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton is proud to present the Leader of the Year Award to Deb Clements, RT (R), Director of Radiology, Cardiology, and Neurology. Clements has worked at the hospital for nine years, previously working at Boston Medical Center for seventeen years.
“Deb is everything you want in a leader, especially in a healthcare setting,” said Rich Fernandez, president, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton. “She is known for managing a highly engaged team, and she always advocates for her colleagues and her patients, Deb was here every day during the pandemic and always goes above and beyond – she’s even manned the front desk when necessary. We are very fortunate to have her.”
As a “Rad Tech,” Clements manages a staff of about 100 who perform a variety of medical services: X-ray, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound, CT scan, Bone density testing, and nuclear medicine. She was selected out of all 47 hospital leaders, six of whom were nominated.
“I am very honored to be recognized in this way. I feel very appreciated,” said Clements. “It’s important to me that I recognize the wonderful team that I have. Without their hard work and dedication I would not be receiving this award! I have an amazing team in Radiology, Cardiology and Neurology who work tirelessly to deliver compassionate, high quality care to our patients. Their hard work and dedication inspires and motivates me to work harder and do better”.
Clements was given a plaque at a ceremony at Granite Links in Weymouth.
