Sarah Hart announces candidacy for Milton Town Meeting Member, Precinct 5

My name is Sarah Hart, and I’m running for Town Meeting in precinct 5.

We all choose to live in Milton for a reason. Perhaps it’s our top-flight schools, or the beautiful green spaces and trails in the Blue Hills. Maybe we’ve lived here all our lives and have found it such a wonderful place to live that we don’t want to leave. So much of what makes Milton special brings us together as a community.

I am running for Town Meeting because in the almost 15 years I have lived here, I have become more involved in Milton — so much that I want to do more. I believe Milton’s people and its rich history make it the best town in the Commonwealth. I believe Milton has a great future ahead, and I want to help my neighbors build that future.

I am devoted to supporting our schools; to advocating for our seniors and ensuring they have affordable housing in their golden years; to protecting our beautiful green spaces; to keeping our roads safe; to broadening our tax base to help fund town services we all need; and to ensuring all feel welcome and included.

Serving the town as a Town Meeting member is a prospect that fills me with excitement and hope.
