Join us for a fascinating look inside the White House during Lincoln’s presidency, when it was “the People’s House” and a very different place than it is today. Conroy’s book brings the house to life, unveils its military, political, and domestic operations, and explores Lincoln’s use of the Executive Mansion as a rallying point for the war and an engine for social change.
“Lincoln’s White House” is a co-winner of the Gilder Lehrman Lincoln Prize, Winner of the Abraham Lincoln Institute Book Award, and a History Book Club Bestseller. Space is limited – please visit forbeshousemuseum.org to reserve your spot.
