Christine Turnier announces candidacy for Milton Town Meeting Member, Precinct 4

I am excited to announce my candidacy for Town Meeting, Precinct 4. When my family and I moved to Milton, it was love at first sight. We chose this community for its deep history, beautiful green spaces, and dedication to high quality education.

As a consumer strategy and communications professional, I value listening to people and putting human needs at the center of decision-making. As a parent of an MPS student, I support improving outcomes for all our students. As the board chair for Discovery Schoolhouse, I have worked collaboratively with the Select Board, administrators, and other community partners in the school’s mission to purchase the Kidder Library site.

Here’s what I’m about:

• Supporting early education resources
• Advocating for our schools and our teachers
• Protecting green spaces through thoughtful conservation
• Encouraging smart development that increases our tax base while protecting our town’s character
• Helping older Milton residents thrive and participate fully in our community
