Jim Davis announces candidacy for Planning Board

I love this town where I have lived and worked for over 20 years.

My wife Melanie and I feel fortunate to be raising our three children here. Our oldest is a graduate of the Milton Schools, our middle is at the Milton High School and our youngest is at Pierce Middle School.

The diverse and special neighborhoods that make up our town are what attracted me and my wife. We chose to settle down in Milton, a suburb of Boston. We have enjoyed participating in the Boy Scouts program here and many of you may remember Melanie and me from owning and running Bents Cookie Factory on Pleasant Street from 2008-2013.

In my work as a self-employed general contractor, I have been fortunate to work with and meet so many great families across Milton as I help them remodel their homes.

I also enjoy remodeling and repurposing our own houses. This has afforded me the opportunity to get to live in various communities including the Hillside Neighborhood, Milton Hill, Academy Hill, Chickatawbut Hill and the Blue Hills Area Neighborhood.

I look forward to meeting you and hearing from you about what you think is important. I would like your support in serving the citizens of the town.
