Jacquelyn Munger announces candidacy for Milton Town Meeting Member, Precinct 7

Hello Neighbors,

I’m excited to announce my candidacy as a Town Meeting Member for Precinct 7, Milton MA. After living just over the town line in Lower Mills for several years, we moved our growing family to Milton in 2020. As a resident of Granite Place, we have been so lucky to be warmly welcomed by our neighbors and are grateful to live in a tight knit community with so many children and wonderful families who look out for each other.

I’m a mom to three young boys – one at Collicot (1st grade French), one at Cunningham (pre-K) and one eager to join his big brothers in school. I am an active member of the Collicot PTO, and also serve as Room Parent to both children’s classrooms. I truly enjoy connecting with parents and creating additional opportunities to foster the bonds and relationships made in the classroom with playground meet ups or social gatherings. Earlier this year, I had the privilege to join the board of the Foundation for Milton Education. I’m so impressed by the impactful work and contributions to Milton schools by this amazing group of individuals, and am energized to join their efforts.

I graduated from Providence College with a bachelor’s degree in business management and currently work in HR Technology managing global applications. Since moving to Milton I’ve always wanted to be more involved with decisions that are made for the town, but wasn’t quite sure what influence I could have until someone asked me if I was interested in running for town meeting member. My goal is to be a true representative of our town – listening to all residents’ needs, helping Milton move forward without leaving behind its traditions and ensuring we get the support we need while making responsible decisions.

I promise to support our communities’ best interests and be a voice of reason. It would be a privilege to represent Precinct 7 and I ask for your vote on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.
