Alpha program at St. Agatha Parish to take place March 8
You’re invited!
Got questions about life and the Christian faith? Come join us for Alpha, a small-group program to be held Wednesday evenings at St. Agatha Parish in Milton beginning Wednesday, March 8. At its core, Alpha is a series of conversations about things we all think about: Why do bad things happen to good people? What’s the purpose of life? What’s next?
The program involves watching short videos, then breaking up into small groups to have conversations about the general topics of the videos. We start with a pizza and salad dinner. Alpha is free, and runs for 11 weeks (you can attend as few or as many sessions as you want). Meetings are Wednesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in the St. Agatha Parish Gathering Space. You don’t have to be a member of the church to attend. In fact, bring your friends!
Dinner and socializing is from 6:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.; the main session is from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. If you can’t stay for the whole session or need to come late, no problem.
To see a video preview of Alpha, go to the St. Agatha website at https://stagathaparish.org/alpha. If you are interested in joining us, pre-registration through the site is helpful but not necessary. It just helps us with food planning. Phone: 617-698-2439.
