Select Board Letter Regarding Milton Station Stairs

The Town of Milton was recently notified that the MBTA plans to demolish the stairs at Milton Station March 6 to March 9, despite the Town’s efforts to request that the MBTA repair and reopen the stairs to restore access to Milton Station. In October 2022, the Town filed a lawsuit against the MBTA regarding its failure to repair the stairs. 

The Select Board voted on February 13, 2023 to send a letter to Governor Healey regarding the MBTA’s plan to demolish the stairs.
