MPL Walking Club to take place February 2 and 16
Presented by the Milton Public Library.
Our ongoing events continue this month with the MPL Walking Club happening on Thursdays, 2/2 and 2/16, both meeting up in the parking lot at 12 noon.
Come join others for some exercise and companionship this month! However you must sign up in advance at our website to participate.
Also there will be two meetings of the Library Knitting Group held in February, on Thursday, 2/2, at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, 2/18, at 10:00 a.m. – both held in the Conference Room. No signup is required for this drop-in program, but if you would like to get on the organizer’s list to receive Email updates, send a message to Librarian Jean Hlady at [email protected] or call her at the Reference Dept. (617-898-4964 ). This program is a very fun way to share your craft projects with others, learn new tips and tricks, and make new friends!
All of these events are kindly sponsored by the Friends of the Milton Public Library and are free and open to everyone.“Milton Grows”- which funds some of these programs – is a year-long initiative for all ages focused on gardening and sustainability. Funded by the federal Library Services and Technology Act, the grant is administered by the MBLC, and supported by our partners Sustainable Milton and the Friends of the MPL. For questions or for assistance registering for a program, Email [email protected] or call the Reference Dept. at (617) 898-4964. The Milton Public Library is located at 476 Canton Avenue.
