The Celebrity Book Club & Library Knitting Group to take place Nov. 3 at Milton Public Library
The Celebrity Book Club will return on Thursday, 11/3, at 7:00 p.m., held in person in the Keys Community Room, although you may attend this hybrid event instead via Zoom if you choose. Staff Sally Lawler and Sara Truog will lead you in a fun, relaxed discussion of books recommended by popular celebrities. Basketball Star Steph Curry recommended the chosen title to read in advance which is Portrait of a Thief by Grace D. Li. Please register before the program at our website and indicate your attendance preference. To reserve a copy of the book, call the Reference Dept. at (781) 898-4964.
The ongoing Library Knitting Group will also meet in person on Thursday, 11/3, at 7:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, 11/19, at 10:00 a.m., both held in the Conference Room. Come and bring your knitting or other fabric project to share good company, knitting tips and tricks, and fun conversation during these group gatherings. No registration is required in advance, but if you would like to get on the organizer’s list to receive reminders, please Email [email protected] and she will make sure you are added.
All of these programs are kindly sponsored by our Friends group, are free and open to the public, and some events are also supported by those grant-making agencies mentioned above and by Sustainable Milton. For more information about any program, please Email [email protected] or call the Reference Dept. at (617) 898-4964. We encourage you to come visit us for a fun event in November!
