The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is hosting a  Design Public Hearing for the Route 28 at Chickatawbut Road Intersection Improvement Project on October 27, 2022 at 7″00 p.m. This meeting will be held remotely online.

What is happening?
A live Virtual Design Public Hearing will be hosted on the MassDOT website below to present designs for the proposed Route 28 at Chickatawbut Road Intersection Improvement in Milton.

How will this affect you?
MassDOT proposes to redesign the Route 28 at Chickatawbut Road intersection to improve safety for all roadway users. MassDOT’s proposed redesign will replace the current intersection with a roundabout. During the public hearing, MassDOT will review the proposed redesign, construction activities and schedule, traffic safety, improvements to bicycle and pedestrian connectivity, and impacts to the community. All comments submitted in response to this event will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible.
