Being Safe Online adult programs to take place Nov. 10
The second class is called: “Hands-on workshop: Being Safe Online” scheduled for Thursday, 11/10, at 6.30 p.m. For those interested in safety online and who want to protect themselves from fraudsters and scams, this interactive program will build participants’ confidence when visiting websites, creating passwords and responding to Email.
Class members will each have use of a laptop computer, and snacks and giveaways will be provided. Advance registration is limited and required at our website for these workshops. These programs are made possible by a grant from the Public Library Association Digital Literacy Workshop Incentive, supported by AT&T. The Reference staff is happy to help you register, so please call us at if you need assistance with this, at (617) 898-4964. We hope you might join us for these educational offerings.
Our programs are kindly sponsored by our Friends group, are free and open to the public, and some events are also supported by those grant-making agencies mentioned above and by Sustainable Milton. For more information about any program, please Email [email protected] or call the Reference Dept. at (617) 898-4964. We encourage you to come visit us for a fun event in November!
