Annual Boston Harborfest Celebration
Taking place July 1-4, the 2022 Boston Harborfest is a family-friendly event that includes historical reenactments, live music, parades and a fireworks display over Boston Harbor on July 2nd.
Boston 4th of July Parade
Mon, July 4, 2022 9:00 a.m.
City Hall Plaza, 1 City Hall Square, Boston, MA
At 9:00 a.m., there is a flag raising ceremony on City Hall Plaza followed by a parade to the Granary Burial Ground, where wreaths are laid on the graves of patriots. The parade then continues to the Old State House.

Hingham Fourth of July Independence Day Parade
Monday, July 4, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., Hingham High School, 17 Union Street
This treasured annual event starts at the Hingham high school, marches down middle street and then Main Street ending up at the station Street parking lot. Come one, come all and see Hingham’s own militia company firing salutes. And also lots of other fun floats.

Merrymount Association Freedom Celebration
The Merrymount Association will be hosting its annual Freedom Celebration at the beach on Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.
-Kid’s Bike Parade begins at 4:45 p.m. at Merrymount School (don’t be late!)
-We’ll have 3 food vendor options
-Shack will be open for non-alcoholic drinks, ice cream, and snacks (bring cash!!)
–Beer and wine for sale (bring cash!!)
-DJ and dancing for the kids
-Bring chairs and blankets for seating
-Please leave your dogs and fireworks at home!!
Quincy’s Annual City of Presidents 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular
Monday, Jul 4, 2022 at 9:15 p.m.
Town River Bay Directly Behind Bay Pointe, Quincy, MA
The fireworks will launch around 9:15pm from a barge located in Town River Bay directly behind Bay Pointe and are viewable from places like Houghs Neck, Merrymount, Germantown, Quincy Point, North Weymouth, etc.
Weymouth’s 3rd of July Fireworks Celebration!
This year’s celebration is scheduled for Sunday, July 3, 2022, at George Lane Beach on River Street in North Weymouth. Attracting a record crowd each year, this event features live music by The New Band, novelty vendors, inflatable bouncers, and a variety of food trucks and concession stands.
Fireworks start at approximately 9:30 p.m..
BUS TRANSPORTATION: Starting at 5pm from the McCulloch Building/Whipple Center at 182 Green Street, North Weymouth. There will be return trips after the fireworks display, which starts at 9:30pm.
