Kathleen Crogan-Camara challenges Walter Timilty to debate
Kathleen Crogan-Camara, Democratic candidate for the Norfolk, Bristol and Plymouth State Senate district, issued the following statement challenging incumbent Walter Timilty to a debate between the two candidates:
“Voters deserve a robust discussion of ideas from those seeking to represent them. Unfortunately for our district, Sen. Timilty has never participated in a debate, even as his extreme votes against reproductive healthcare and LGBTQ+ rights put him at odds with his constituents. For the good of our democracy, I hope Sen. Timilty will end his silence and accept my invitation for a debate. I am ready to discuss my experience and ideas at any time, any day, in any venue.”
Crogan-Camara suggests an outdoor debate in Milton on Monday, July fourth, at noon, on the platform of the Central Avenue T Station, to be broadcast on Facebook Live and recorded for rebroadcast.
